UPDATE: Milton police announced on Sunday morning that he has been found safe in Illinois.
Authorities are currently conducting a search for a 93-year-old man from Milton who suffers from dementia. After embarking on a trip to Fort Atkinson on Saturday, he has not been in contact and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Loren C. Jondall has been missing since Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, despite his expected return home by 6 p.m. On that day, he was driving a silver Chevrolet Equinox with Wisconsin license plate ACS-8757, which has a noticeable dent on the passenger side door.
As of 2 a.m. Sunday, he was still missing.
Jondall, a Caucasian man, is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 230 pounds. He possesses brown eyes and gray hair. During his last sighting, he was dressed in a blue flannel shirt, a leather jacket, blue jeans, and a green hat.
Authorities have stated that Jondall often utilizes Highway 26 for his commute between Milton and Fort Atkinson. They speculate that he may have accidentally taken the incorrect exit while making his way back home.
Authorities have stated that Jondall is suspected to be experiencing dementia or some other form of cognitive impairment.
